Axial axle good for 1/6 ?

I have a 1/6 h2 in progress , I already have 2 axial axles but my question is , would it be worth using them? No bashing in mind just plowing and trail riding. Or should I bump up to WK axles for the added width and less stress on the knuckles . I know the width gain isnt much but I suppose anything would help. How are the internals? Strong enough for a 1/6 rig 12-13 lbs? Or should I keep the axila and just throw some wideners on em , I need to be at 13-13.5 outside tire to outside tire . Thanks in advance - Bob

with out dropping the cash on all alum. axial axles, HD internals, and super 300 axle shafts I would say no, but both axles with minor upgrades would hould up to the 12- 13lb rig you want to run, but itd be the fact if you run a big tire or not, with 2.2s you could squeze by but any bigger and you'd askin for trouble.

youd be better off selling them or keeping them for another build and buying your self some TXT axles.

the WK axles have about the same internals as an axial.

dont get me wrong axails are tough, but IMO they arent 1/6th scale tough.

I use WK axles on my 1/6th Willys Jeep without any issues at all. I have the usual aluminum upgrades, but nothing 'custom'. My Jeep weighs about 15lbs. I have a buddy whose Jeep weights even more and he runs AX-10 axles which seem to hold up fine as well, just sometimes the narrower width makes issues because of the decreased turning radius he has but his solution is simple- he just plows over anything that gets in the way!

They are wider, I don't know the exact measurement but good luck finding replacement parts. ( forget about upgraded parts, they don't exist) The douche bag who recommends them is just a troll, he has no experience with anything that he writes about. Check out ZOSO's vids, he shows how tough the AX-10 and WK axles are, they must be a dozen large scale Jeeps in his club. My vids just show the Jeep being driven, but no under carriage shots showing the axles.
