what are wk axles? im looking for some axles that will make my wheels an tires to be wider then the truck

YJesse 09-06-2011 04:57 PM

wk=Wheely King

They're wider than axial's but not as wide as twin/mad force or x-factor. Wheely King axles are popular on 1/6 builds, they're usually pretty close to the right width depending on the body.

How wide is the body??

Cordwood 09-06-2011 06:53 PM

Is it this 1/6 F-350, about 10.5" wide?

Depending on the tire size you're using, WK axles will likely be too narrow and weak. TXT will work and you can get TTR CVD's again for them. X-factors are probably too wide. Twin Force axles are where it's at. You can customize the width and get plenty of upgrades. Check out the twin force section as well as supershafty.com

Cordwood 10-08-2011 09:27 AM

It'll depend on your wheels I think. You might need extensions.

i would recommend twin force axles, they are very easy to custom build them to your desired width. i have gone all the way to 13 3/4" hex to hex down to 8 1/4" hex to hex"thumbsup"
