Haha, you have an audience for this one. I can't wait to see this thing finished! |
do you ever drive your bully or bruiser? |
Yota is used a lot, swimmer rig:mrgreen: http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/y...s/bc1d2fc8.jpg The bully has changed chassis twice, but has never seen outdoor rocks, only what we made in our porch. Its a two hour drive to a decent rock formation and been kinda busy with work. "thumbsup" |
I am serching high and low for a large enuff body here in denmark to fit simmilar axels, witch i will order about 5 miliseconds after i have secured a useable body. I have found some interesting bodies, but the prize the sellers ask is insane. I proberly have to take a insane pill 1 day and "just do it" as the Nike comercials said back in the 90ties  |
Tell me about it. This was what I was going to use,but decided against it. http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/y...3/1d57f181.jpg http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/y...3/cf84fee2.jpg |
updates? |
Hey man, been travelling the last couple of days. Ill be back this weekend and update once i get back to building.. |
Opened up the axles last weekend. They weren't locked so I decided to try and see if I could just jam it up with metal application epoxy. Here are some pics. http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/y...3/b71f71c6.jpg http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/y...3/2af220f2.jpg http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/y...3/db86828d.jpg Screwed two smaller screws into the smaller gears to stop them from turning then added the epoxy. http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/y...3/47f9bbae.jpg http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/y...3/09cb7ca6.jpg Also got the servo for this rig. I laughed when I saw it's size. I keep on forgetting how big this is going to be. http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/y...3/5f1bd009.jpg sitting next to a normal servo. http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/y...3/c403a61b.jpg Going to pick up the chassis when I get back this weekend. Hope they made it right. |
I forgot, this is going under the hood. I just hope it doesn't fall apart while trailing. :lmao: I put it together last week as well. http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/y...3/63a8d59d.jpg http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/y...3/880cc730.jpg http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/y...3/5284bb79.jpg |

Looks good bud but the big block looks a little to small compared to the axles maybe you could make a motor an stick you electric motor in that or go for an rc4wd fracture v8 in it |
