| internal springs for 5b shocks.
I'm building a 1/6 scale monster truck. I built it with baja 5b shocks but the only springs I can find are not stiff enough. Anyone know what would fit? People have used 14mm axial springs but they don't fit. They cause bindage.

I guess we will never know. The reason I'm asking is because what manufactures are stating their springs are 14mm they aren't. The ID of the shock is .607" or 15.42mm that being said a 14mm spring should fit. Well they don't. The OD of my 14x90mm spring is .634" or 16.1mm. The ID of the same spring is .536" or 13.61mm. If the ID designates the spring size its too small. I found some places online that sell springs but I would have to buy a box a 100. I only need 4 at about a 5lb spring rate.
