Covered, and good call on the Mini Trophy shafts/SN combo - will look into those for the F50 build.

What a great project! Well done! Youve given me quite a few ideas...

Your modular chasis design is so simple/obvious, Im wondering why I never thought of it before?!

Well, I never got stuck... Have to plan your lines a bit differently, but plenty capable.

Thanks for the kind words all...got more in store for this project. Will get some comparison pics with some other rides as well.

I love this shot. The IFS looks real good...

It looks fabulous in the video, especially at speed when the suspension is working. Seems to be a decent crawler too, and the body roll is a lot less than I thought it would be.

Excellent!!

Thanks...Agreed 1/6 is a blast, have an F150 and a Willy waiting in the wings. Gotta finish this one first.

Body roll is controlled well by the front suspension, the IFS has a natural anti-roll to it as the shocks are somewhat triangulated. The rear could use a swaybar - the spings and oil are about perfect, but it just flops around a bit too much back there. Small swaybar should help, and it'll still flex well.

I watched the vid on Scale4x4, the truck turned out great! Those long front control arms scream 'Pre-runner' to me, this truck needs some air time!!

I'm gonna have to seriously consider one of these bodies, it would be Uber cool to have a 1/6th tow rig for my Willys Jeep.

Hey OSRC, i was just thinking and i think it would be really sick to see this thing with a leaf spring rear suspention. sence this is a 02 - 05 body and they used a leaf spring rear suspention and IFS front suspention combo all the way up to 2008 with this body style.

That chassis design that you came up with looks slick! Nice work with the IFS as well. Killer build!

Very cool. Thank you for the inspiration. I have two black 1/6 scale Dodges. I drive a '96 1 ton. I will bet that she videos very well. Big lumbering beast.

This thing just screams "RamRunner" to me with the long travel suspension and pre-runner style front bumper. Good job!

How much vertical travel do you get out of the MT2 suspension before the axles bind?

About 2.5" travel, maybe a little more.

Thanks for all the comments....added a set of firm Ripsaws this weekend and while it doesn't look as scale imo, it defintely drives better overall.
