Default Wr-eep!

It's been a while since i've built anything, so here goes.. I was recently brought a dragon 1:6th scale Joe jeep body, as a kind token of "hurry up and build this thing so we can go crawling." from Toobicon(thank you again Reid).

i bought a wraith for my son a couple months ago and he got bored with it, so what better to do with it than throw some full width axles under this thing...all i can say is wow!!! We'll enough with the jibber jabber, pics tell the story..more to come, but heres what I'm working with so far.

much more to come, please don't mind the phone cam pics, i could get my camera to sync with my laptop.

Lookin good brother! Finally another willys to run with. Mine has been lonely for too long now.
As for the full width axles, I have always appreciated the heavily modded rigs compared to full stock looking so run with it man.

This looks like it'sgoing to be a pretty sick rig.

Good luck with the build.

Awesome Kila! To me, the width of the axles is perfect for the overall look. 1/4 panel rock guards would complement the cage and sliders well, just my opinion. This rig is going to force me to change a few things up on mine just to run with you!
Another well laid out build, cage, sliders, 1/4 panel clearance cuts, all going to make for a capable large scale that I know is gonna be a hoot to drive.

front bumper with shackle hangers, hoop and hood bar. i think ill end up tying in the fenders to the bumper.

Made a rear bumper with a receiver, thought it would add to the look...

always wanted one..1/6 scale version is way bigger!

This thing is so much fun to work on.

Can we get a straight on shot so it shows how much the tires stick out past the body w/ the Wraith axles? I'm thinking about trying something w/ them on a current project.
