Cool Easy light project for using my Apache c1

Here is a quick project using lights from my daughter sneakers... you know ones that flash when the run..... well she out-grew them and i decided to pull the sealed units out and use them on my truck. the units are in cased in a solid piece of plastic so if the batteries die I will need to pull the whole thing out.

I used old lights but when i do this again i'm going to a bargain store and buying kids shoes ( saw them at area big lots for 5 dollars) to have "new units" to work. Cost is cheaper than light sets and these things are heavy duty to take the "running" of a child.

Very original idea. Seems like certain brands of shoes lights last a long time too.
