When I was in high school there was an older dude in town who dropped a Bug body on a CJ5 frame. It was pretty cool. Turned heads everywhere it went. Ah the linkys work now - Is that an MG body? Go to it, this is a cool build idea!! |

Got a little done today. Installed spools in both axles and put on the link shock mounts, still have to install sharkfin on the rear axle. Anyone out there using twin force axles using a sharkfin in front also using a frame mounted servo? How about rear steer? Drivetrain layout http://i1264.photobucket.com/albums/...t/100_0144.jpg Did I mention I am hiding motor http://i1264.photobucket.com/albums/...t/100_0145.jpg Going to try to dummy up skid plate in cardboard today. Thanks |

Hey. Just found your build. I like where you are headed so far. I will be watching to see how this one goes. We are both using the same pic for motivation, but so far our builds are nowhere near the same. Keep up the good work.

Thanks been a trying to find the time to get some more done, work has been killer. Got some plans drawn up and going to aluminum square tube for the frame to save some weight.
