Shore Patrol version? ( we called 'em the short time patrol...)

As much as I have no issues cutting up a regular Hasbro Jeep, this one is definitely on the 'harder to find' list. "thumbsup" to what ever you do with it!

check out all of the stuff for 1/6th scale action figures. Between the "life like" bodies, head sculpts, clothing and accessories, it's almost kind of creepy what you can build for a driver. I've been *this* close to buying a 1/6th Stig to drive my orange Jeep!

Currently building one of the USN Jeep version. keeping mine almost original except with a few upgrades. The Jeep body and color will remain original.

If you guys keep building these things I'll have to con my wife into letting me convert her kubelwagen or schwimmwagen 1/6 scale rigs to R/C instead of the Barbie new beetle.

I remember a site somewhere on the internet that will re-pop YOUR head in 1/6th scale. You send them several photographs and they scan them somehow I think. I can't find it right this second though.

My driver was "assembled" from 4 or 5 different ebay buys. Body from one place, head from another, etc. I got a little carried away...

Wow, is the ratio of use really that bad?

I guess it is worth it to just have my "real" bottles refilled at the local welders supply. I'm out if Safety Silv anyway. It's expensive these days though...

yes. the oxy bottle is not a high pressure bottle, hence the lack of a regulator. Once I started to add up how much I wasted on those little red canisters, I realized that I already had spent more than a basic HVAC style oxy/act setup would have cost. I'm not trying to discourage CTBM from trying it, the kit is an easy way to give brazing a try.

ah thats what you were talking about. ya like bigski said, I've used this before, if you have already a high pressure oxy tank with a regulator, thats be a really good setup for beginning

So I see you have wraith axles under that Willy's too, I used them too and what I find is they are like boat anchors they hang up on everything but look awesome lol if you use the plastic diffs they eventually round out and slide a bit better ......... sort of "thumbsup" love the Willy's builds I am thinking I might even build a second one but not comp cut the rear fenders this time
