| shocks for a heavy truck
so im building a custom body for my custom truck. its a cabover with a flatbed but the body is going to be on the heavy side. what are my options for shocks and springs. upgrading my stockers is pretty much out of the question as i started wit a cheap knock off from the internet. any help os appreciated

Axial has plenty of different springs available for the SCX-10 shocks, they may be worth considering.

Im running emaxx shocks with hardware store springs.

I would say the T-Maxx / E-Maxx shocks are the way to go, they are heavy duty, durable and easy to tune.

i was up at the hobby town and got a set of emaxx shocks. the are just the right length but the springs are way to soft. i need to run up to the hardware store and see what i can get. my springs are the red ones btw

i did the same thing i did the hardware store springs i got mine from lowes. there in the screw section. used on screen doors and washer units and my 1:5 build weighs out at 30lbs
