Scissors' Willys Jeep Poll

Just picked this up.

(I do still need a windshield for it if anyone has one let me know - thanks.)
I could go one of two routes with it. I grew up just loving watching "Rat Patrol" so I'd love to make it true to the show ... or I could go with a late model crawler like I've been seeing on the board. What to do... what to do.....

Option 1, when you get it done, get an other and go option 2.

I vote #2 just because that's the way I'm going :ror:
Also quite possibly there will be a comp catagory for these in the future 8)

Ok - what axles to use on this if it's headed to be an all-out crawler? I was told by an experienced crawler that I should go with AR60 axles (built up with VP stuff). I want it to be bulletproof but not cost me one of my kids...

did you decide on a full scaler? i have two hasbro jeeps and another four 1/6th scale jeeps and since they are different widths i am going with tlt with leaf springs and on the others probably axial or wheelieking axles.trying to use the stock tires and rims on the hasbros or might try and mold mold some softer tires .

im using similar but all steel...
or any other ar60 width axle would be great, perfect width for a comp jeep... IMO

AXR-10 hybrids work very well, the narrowed Wraith axles look a lot better but they are a lot more work.
