Default 1:7th Suzuki Samurai trail build

Okay folks, what do you do when you want to do a scale trail rig? Right now you can do a Jeep, Bronco, Courier, C-10, or an FJ40 or Scrambler if you don't mind spending $60.00 for a body. What about us people that enjoy being different and love "making" more then "buying" our bits?

Well, after spending the past 3 months reserching, taking pics, and drawing massive amounts of scale blue prints, you get this...

Its still rough, but it is starting to come together quickly now.

What do ya think?

Sweet job man but to me the top looks a little to tall.

Ya, I thought that to, but all the tech drawing and pics I scaled off of shows its correct. A buddy of mine was over last week and said it is because I don't have the doors on it yet. If it still looks to tall after the doors go on, it will be time to chop the top.

It may seem too tall, but Samurai's are like that.

Looks like a great start. What material did you use?

I want one

Original and cool... Keep it up, cannot wait to see the finished product. Did you do the chassis yourself or is it something like the CSC-1? I had a lady friend that had one. It was a blast of a little rig.

I've been around Samurai's my whole life and that looks right on! I used to have a grey one and my dad raced a blue one and a cow painted one in tough trucks all over the place. If you guys have ever seen the Gotmudd? Sami, that's our old one. Too sweet....

It looks tall because it is rightside up...
We are all used to seeing Sammys upside down on the trail!
