guys what shocks should a use for this jeep? thanks let me know what options are outhere besides axials....

When I built my Hasbro jeep I used scale shocks from RC4WD I think they are 100mm they look like regular shocks no coil over or any thing else. I did a four link suspension with all thread,used those same brackets you have, then covered the all thread with drip irrigation hose. I put the drip hose on one to cover the all thread and so it could slide over stuff and not catch. When you set the brackets for the front suspension links make sure you don't just line them up on the skid plate cross member one side is narrower than the other and then your front axle wont be crooked like mine is.

hi im back working on my rig again.. here are some new things i have been doing, i glued the metal rod to the chassy with Epoxy glue

I also used the RC4WD scale shocks for my CJ6 chassis. They look really scale with the boots and Rancho decals.


These are the 90mm.

The Junfac TS02 shocks look even more scale IMO, but are only 90mm.

Awesome build going on here! The Traxxas links will make the 4 link a quick and simple task for the suspension, and are practically indistructable. Excited to see more.

I used g transition 1/8. Scale shocks on my willys build. And love them if search you could look at my set up I believe its called rods willys

i also drilled the headlight buckets all the way flash using a dremel...

i added some turn singnal lights as well, using some orange lenses from a toy car
