Ok here is a quick video of the jeep in action. The video is not the greatest, we still don't know how to use our camera. My wife lets us know too that it isn't good video, lol. I also crash into the tree as I was watching the camera not the jeep. Hopefully I get this video loaded correctly from photo bucket, unfortunately its going to be a link. | Re: 1/6 TJ Jeep chassis
another update, I wasn't liking the rockyness and leaning so I upgraded to a double throw down set up. One coil over and one shock all four corners. All I did is use TF2 leaf spring shackles to mount the second shock to at the bottom, and a longer screw and a spacer at the top. She still has some flex too Hope this works out well. Now I need to up the power. The 2 RC4WD 55 turn motors are ok, but I would really like to put a 14v dewalt or a traxxas titan 775 on here. I have a few other choices, like a johnson motor, but not sure yet. The dewalt and the titan are too big to mount normaly to the axial transmission. I may stick with this setup for now with 4S. |

Look very nice, I've had this same idea for a while now, just no time of late.

Does any one have advice on what would have enough power to move this beast. I prefer not to go brushless I want it water proof. Are these RC4WD closed motors any good? Is there a DeWalt conversion for the axial trans, or a thread on it, I didn't find one. Let me know what you all think, and if you have any ideas to give this thing some ore power.

So I emailed Holmes hobbies, and am waiting on a reply. Holmes has some excellent motor options, so I am waiting on a reply on some options. Im surprised no one has chimed in and had any ideas.

I know it's not a TJ, but it could be pulled off quite easily with the Tamiya PS-49 | |

Thats not a bad color, I may have to get motivated and do some painting. I have been a bit pre occupied with GTA 5, so haven't done to much RC stuff. I will also need to buy some paint, we shall see.

No, things have a been a bit hectic and I have been selling a few of my rc's(not this one). I just got back state side and bought a house so it may be a few before I do something else. I need to beef up the power a touch but don't have the cash to buy something with more torque. I need to paint it as well but been spending all my time and money on my house and some on my 1:1 Jeep. As soon as I do something to it I will certainly post it.
