Default 1/6 hummer

well i wanted to build something crazy that had no point to it just to show off what i can do and what the guys at my track can do so i ended up building this hummer

the body is a new bright front doors and hood and hatch open
the axles and drive line came from a super crawler a friend built

the frame is all custom and welded and fits the truck just right

more pics i had the truck running but i am changing the running gear to run 1/8 esc and motor

so i just order my new esc and motor Turnigy trackstar waterproof 1900kv kit ill be only running it on 2s and turning it down

here are the specs

Funny how it's size really came into perspective when you walked up to it and closed the hood. Large scale is fun.

it has been fun to build and run but i have so much more that needs to be done to it before it will be done then off to the next build

to tell you ther truth i dont know the axles where built by my good friend but he did say it was the was id as the axles and that they had to be pressed on

hmm, well tell him he did a great job man. if you talk to him and it comes up i'd love to know what he used, or where he got it so i can do that to my twin force axles.

i have that same body and was going to use it for this build but it look too small then i got the hummer body and it was just right for the buld

i still have the escalade body and i think im going to use it to build a slammed escalade on air ride

Can you get any "body off" shots to see how you have mounted body to chassis. I have a yellow body and am just starting to trim floor pan flat below seats and prep body for paint and build. Need help mounting body ideas

The rims are imex jumbo kong beads glued to ofna pirate wheels. I've seen jumbo kongs on ofna pirates with out the imex beads before. I just couldn't get the beads to seat.
