Default F350 on 40's

Hi guys, some of you might have seen my project in the Twin/Mad Force section, but I thought I'd share it in here to
I'm going for a big mud truck type look really, the frame was custom made for me by STANG KILLER SS, running Summint 2 speed, Twin Force axles with spools, big 2000kv brushless system on 4s, 7980, Baja shocks, custom wheels...

I wont bore you with the full build, you can see that in Twin Force section, but heres how she stands now...
WB is about 18.5"

I'll update this thread as things progress if peeps are interested

This is basic shot of it, I'm hoping to add a steel exo-cage with intergrated lightbar on the roof.

Thanks mate. Been a long time getting it this far, but I'm trying to do it to a high standard so not quick and easy. We'll see how it turns out

A simple fix is some bent aluminum hoops mounted to the chassis with velcro (hook and loop) mounted to the body. There are many other options, but that's all I can offer at the moment.

I'll keep thinking on that one...

I finally got around to finishing the machining on my shocks. I had the bodies and rods turned downed, and the spring platforms finished, I just needed to cut a groove in the rods for a circlip to retain the pistons.
On to the lathe again. I swear this metal is as hard as diamond!

Perfect!

Finished! Really happy with these, they have come out just how I wanted and I havent seen anyone else come up with this solution for big scale rigs. Which is always nice

Next up, battery and ESC/reciever trays.....

Got a bit more done. Made up alloy plates front and back to mount the batteries and electronics on, tried to make them fairly beefy as I didnt want anything to strip or come lose with the weight of the batts being thrown about when I (undoubtably) roll it down a hill lol
Also got a servo bracket made up and got it fixed down to the axle mount, used 3 x 3m self tappers to screw it to the axle, so hoping it wont get knocked lose the first time the truck takes a beating!
Pics...
Rear tray

Front tray

Steering

As she stands, with new shock setup I'm a proud daddy LOL

Ok guys, I need your input...

Look at the last pic and take a mental pic. Now, I need help deciding on the layout, I have 3 ideas:

Option A:
Turn the transmission around (motor at front), mount both batteries side by side on the front plate and mount all radio gear/ESC on the rear tray.

Option B: Turn transmission around, extend the rear tray past the spacer bar and mount the radio gear/ESC on there, with a battery mounted on the front tray and rear tray.

Option C:
The better idea you guys come up with...

Depending on battery size and what you plan on doing with it your gonna want some weight up front either way so minimum one battery ip front..
