Little update, the screw drive is going to have to be re-designed to make it stronger and more reliable and a Holmes Puller is on the way seeing how nothing else I had could even pull the rig up a hill... lol

BRXL is here just waiting on the puller to get this beast finally moving. Going to be doing some modification to the rollback assembly so it operates a little more smoothly.

This rig is cool cool cool. Post up your revised roll back mechanism. I got some Dune T/A's on a CC-01(before that a Trail Stomper), they get around pretty good.

Finally got the word from Mr Holmes that my puller is in the mail hoping for it tomorrow along with my RCC hoodie even though its getting warmer out. Once the motor is in my hands its going to be a lot closer to getting it out on the trails and scooping up rigs. Im also going to lower the rear end so the bed angle isnt as steep as it is with 5" of clearance to the bottom of the frame

Really neat rollback, if you need more of a lower gear , I have been flogging on a pro4 powered rc4wd wraith 2speed trans for several months and it is holding up really well. There are pics of the inside of it on my wraith build in my signature, all metal gears on the inside. With a 12 / 60 pin/spur ratio, low gear is a fast walk. That being said, with a 60 turn and a 10/65 pin spur or so I'd think you should be able to climb whatever and kick it into high to still get respectable speed. Either way I'm sure you'll get it figured out! Looking forward to some more progress ;)

I thought about using the AX-2 tranny myself but with a puller geared for a 35t top end speed it'd be too fast unless I ran a divorce kit

I'll have to take some overall measurements to get the true massiveness of this beast compared to a regular 1/10 scale

BIG update. Finally got around to wiring up that sweet ass TTC puller to the disruptor tranny, ended up taking two junk JunFac shaft ends and welding the shaft in place between the tranny and the transfer case. Changed wheels/tires over to a set of Axial 8 holes with some uncut 2.2 boggers. Filmed a short video which will be up soon of its very first run with a REAL motor in it. HUGE thanks goes to John Holmes for hooking me up with such a badass powerplant

I like it! I can't wait to get my 1/6 scale started. I've always wanted a large scale build. I love the low speed control you have...that puller is perfect!

I was shocked when I saw how easily it pulled things and more so the smoothness of it throughout the throttle curve. I got rained (more like flooded) out today for testing it in the woods, as ALL my wooden bridges that cross the creek are ancient history now Guess we'll have to wait to see what it looks like when the water goes back down
