Well Double J, for shocks I dont think you would need anything longer than a Maxx sized shock, The leaves will pretty much only move so far. True fire would be a wicked addition to the paint scheme, but I think something more traditional would fit the rig better. Maybe solid black with red accents, something that screams I'm going to eat you.

How about a **** load of pics I took last night as I moved forward with this. It is now ready for PC. Not sure what color yet. Black, Shocker yellow (I love this color did my BBQ grill with it), Grey or ??. FLEX SHOT WITHOUT THE SHOCKS. ANOTHER ONE. SHOCKS MOUNTED.. YEAH I DECIDED TO GO WITH THE LONG ONES JUST LOOKS COOLER THAN THE MAXX SIZE. BODY ON W/ SHOCKS.... I MADE THE BED A LITTLE HIGHER THAN THE STOCK POSITION SO IT COULD LOOK MORE TRUCK LIKE. BODY ON FLEX SHOTS A LITTLE TO MUCH FLEX BUT I DIDN'T WANT TO SEARCH FOR ANOTHER THING TO HOLD IT UP. WHERE THE BATTERY AND ELECTRONICS WILL SIT. KINDA WHAT IT WILL LOOK LIKE WITH MOABS ON IT. I'll be taking it the PC today at lunch. |

bad azz man. but a ? for you, if your are running leafs all the way around, why are you running springs on your shocks? or are they coming off? I personally think it looks more scale with the nylint tires, not the moabs. just my .02 cents. |

I left the springs on because I ran out of material to add extra leafs so it gives it a little more support. I went through a bunch of material for the leafs to get it right. Trial and error i guess......... Coil overs. And I'm not really loosing that much articulation. as for the moabs I agree but I'll see when I have the rims and their mounted. I'll also narrow the rims. So far I'm liking the nylints. and they flexed allright. I also want this to be able to crawl somewhat. So well see how they handle. | |

Cut the windows so they look like they are rolled down. This way the cage will show thru.

I guess since I didn't make it to the PC I can work on the bumpers this weekend after I get it rolling under it's own power. I have some nice 9 t pinions from Kevinlongisland as well as some motor mounts (should be here today or sat.). The moped (not the green one) a TQ3 and mod it to rear stear. I'll save the 4 channel for another something I'm working on soon. Now what kind of bumpers. HMMMMM Big and bold, nice and slick or mean as hell.?? so many decisions to make and you all don't help out much do you. |
