This shows the rear bulk head of the build and it stiffens the chassis as well as some of the rear links to the hubs. Doesn't mean much till you crash! It was already stiff with CNC diff housing and T6 chassis but I like it, and over build with out adding weight is fine buy me.  here are some pics with out side lighting. | Video! Crash Dummy Losi 5 Hybrid CRASH! darkside That will cost me. I just put in the new drive line and tried it. It sounds right now. But I have major body damage from crashing in cold weather. there goes 500.00 I'm going to patch it as soon as I come up with the right materials to do so. I will not be using this body in the cold anymore!!!! I still need to tune the shocks and the caster as well as low the squat height. I may have built it to light, as it is wanting to lift all the time. I have yet to use the power this thing has. |

Yes they are alot of fun. I is rare to see them on the track or anyplace for that matter. I enjoy the build as much if not more then using it.

Losi 5ive (0) - LIGHT POLE (1) - YouTube I have made repairs and also beefed up thr rear shock tower much like I did on the front by adding another sheet of 2 mm carbon bonded with marine epoxy.   I bought new lower arms to repair the front end and the pin I already had so the front is repaired also.  The picture above shows the damage to the rear shock tower there was some stress cracks in the 4mm carbon so now you can see the difference with the pictures above. |

More power on the way! I'm stepping up to SMC matched Lipos in the race formula. 6500 4s in series to get 8s there 70c discharge with 140 peak.

Well I'm building My own drive shafts because the stock Redcat XBE rear shafts twist up like toothpicks! I'm using tool steal to get it done right once.  |
