Default r/c hummer

hey i just got this radio controlled hummer the first gen body style received it from my boss it's 2 1/2 feet long , 14 inches tall , 1 foot wide , the original chassis is like 4 inches wide but i wanna install a gas or electric motor and savage drive train , savage suspension and steering a bigger steering servo , dont know if ill beable to use the stock tires and rims but even if i get big nobby crawler tires and flexable suspenion i also want to put an aluminum chassis and a roll cage

go electric if ya do nitro you will have a very hard life here sounds like a sweet project though

Sounds pretty cool. As Got Rocks? said drop the nitro, it causes forum fires.

Sounds like you need to put this Hummer body on a Savage.

If its the Hummer I think you're talking about, its not going to fit on a savage. Way to big. Its like 1:6 scale.

ya its huge and no it wont fit on a savage chassis but find a pre fabed chassis or make one from aluminum just use savage tranny and diff, and other goodies but use the big battery powered motor and hole new wiring and other junk to make this thing better than what it was
