Are you saying you're having issues getting wraith chubs to fit on splined style tubes? My wraith chubs fit perfectly on my splined tubes from beef tube brand beef tubes made for the Ottsix TKO10's. | |

| Re: Shinjari's Hasbro 1/6 Willy's Build Hmmmmm nothing comes to mind but I can take some soon. Only complaint is I wish I could in board the leafs a bit more to get a bit more steering but it would require a few machined pieces...and no access to a mill to make them |

Well after a bit I decided the Willys needed to go brushless. Before: BRXL w/ integy 35t motor and Hitec 7950 servo. 87/16 gearing to 2.18:1 t-case. Super slow and torquey. After: Traxxas ET-3s sensored esc, HH Puller pro 540 4500kv and HH SHV500 servo. 87/12 gearing to 2.18:1 t-case. Here is a terrible comparison vid I made. I had before and after pics of the electronics swap...but my phone died before I could upload them...and now I have a new phone without the pics =/ Youtube link for those that can't see the embedded vid. https://youtu.be/9SwlFq0CH3c Last edited by Shinjari; 08-07-2016 at 07:16 PM. |

Looked like Joe lost his girlfriend on the last turn! The Jeep turned out real nice, and the leaf suspension seems to work real well, not too bouncy, excellent job! |

Yeah thanks bud. the leafs work and cycle great. The fact that it's so heavy makes it flat out work. Having (3) GI joes and (1) red headed barbie definitely add to the weight haha. It is probably the most realistic performing rig that I have in the fleet. When the traction is good, you really see the tires grip and even stretch a little. I made sure the axles had track bars to avoid twisting due to all the torque. I may have to do a pan hard on each as there is a little side to side slop, but nothing crazy....I'm just OCD. Got to get this thing on a scale one of these days to get some real numbers. |

Well, I'm the current owner of this rig and a few other fine creations from Shinjari. Unfortunately, I have had no time to really do much with it so it will be on the market very soon. I will offer different options, from rtr to just the body/chassis with the leaf springs. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk |
