You mean at the hub? There are pins that fit into a groove and the wheel is held onto the axle by a nut. Just the standard setup on AR60 axles. Is that what you mean??

yes, thanks! Some of the 2.2 steelies have a pin slot and some have a hex shaped hole for "regular" hex drives.

Now I need to make an anchor point for a panhard bar... guess I need a piece of metal to work with. I'll just cut one out of this with my Bowie knife!

And there you go ! Man, I LOVE this knife!

Now for a little grinding...

Got it mounted on the axle with a bit of moving things around.

Now to get a rough measurement for the panhard bar's length and to figure out what bends it will need to avoid the servo, upper link, chassis & driveshaft.

Some mortar rounds...

Now that's what I'm talking about - looks like some German 88mm rounds. I can use these when I'm making my run for it.

Hey ! It looks like it might fit inside the back end of the Jeep!

Like a glove ! Imagine that - like it was made for it...

Let's see how it fits with the cage in place...

This is an awesome build thread, Sarge is kicking butt on this build and handling the Nazi opposition. I can't wait to see how the rest of the story unfolds!

The last picture without the flash looks a lot better than with the flash. Looks more like ambient lighting

Well I wanted to get a good look at the suspension so I thought I'd just lift it up for a looksie...
I thought I'd forget the panhard bar to get this project moving along faster.
