Hi Twissted:

Thanks for the honour - I have never been a "bench mark", although I am old enough to appreciate sitting on benches in the park

Cappy and Danny have been assigned to other missions so they have not tested the Willys in nature yet. Perhaps when the good weather returns, there may be a new spring offensive and they can see how the Willys performs and eat some dust.

Wow. What a great job! What a nice and clean build.
Do you have a CNC drawing of the chassis frame rails?
Want to build one myself.

Thanks for the comments, JayPi01 and Charlie.

JayPi01, have a CAD file which was made using e-machineshop http://www.emachineshop.com/ proprietary software and can be opened only by their program as far as I know (I had them make the two frame rails). The file is of only one frame member but they are identical for both sides. There are no drawings for other components. PM me with your e-mail address and I can send it to you.

You can download their current software (free) and try to open the file. I do not think that the dimensions will be displayed. The length is 514 mm and it is 6.62 mm thick so maybe you can “reverse engineer” the other dimensions. Alternatively, you can submit the file and get a quote to have them do it. I requested water-jet cut.

Regards, Mati
