Default 1/6 "Nasty Bertha" build

I have been wanting to build a large scale rig for a while and the opportunity came across to get a 1/6 International CXT body. I wanted something HUGE and stand out lol. I am going to build a full custom chassis made from 3/8" and 1/4" brakeline and will be like a monster truck/mud bog chassis. The chassis is going to be 24" long, 6" tall and 4" wide, it will have a traxxas stampede trans with a 1/8 Novak HV 6.5 brushless system, Wraith axles and 40 series Rox Lox tires and beadlock wheels with custom beadlock rings. It will be designed more for mud bog recover but will be used for a trail recovery truck. It will have a 5.5" belly clearance, 19" wheel base, and the roof will sit at 18", the tires are 8.5" tall. Not sure what else I will add to it during the build but it will be awesome.

Looks like a good start. Interested to see how it turns out. I just picked up a second CXT cab. That build will be massive as well. As in it should be able to tow your rig around!

Got some more work done, decided to make a web design in the center of the chassis for looks and support.

I wasn't happy with the web design on the side so I started over.
I used some Carterfab tabs and installed a Axial 40 series beadlock rings. The rings are removable so I can access the trans from the sides and I can paint them a different color from the rest of the tube work.

I like big and over the top, but the 40s seem WAY too big. I'm a scale guy, but I figure you could still build a really cool big truck with 2.2s. If nothing, maybe C.I. Could glue you up some modded 6 inch tires??? Subscribed either way.

If you continue on your plan, I want to see some footpegs and kids in the neighborhood going for a ride

Once the chassis is built i will see how it sits on its own. I am shooting for my of a monster truck and big mud bogger style rig.
