I don't have any good pics of it's chassis ...as I don't have it in my hands yet, still in shipping I'm trying to figure out what make/model it started out as ... I know there is alot of custom parts/work done to it And if it's not obvious already , I'm noob to the crawlers |

This is custom built from a variety of parts, there is no central brand or model. Since it has clod axles, I guess you could say it's a clod based rig. Really not much to identify other than individual components. I see parts from Tamiya, Integy, Traxxas, and other odds and ends. Looks like an Integy chassis poking out of the center, but not 100% sure. It's a super class crawler for sure if you want to put a label on it. |

Just curious, but does the fella you bought this rig from know as lil about as you do? I would've asked the seller most all this that has been brought prior to buying it. And as far as price, its like everything else used in the world, its only worth what the next man will give for it Just my $0.02 |

Yeah, but never listed what axles used, well....we know it has clod style front, and I've never seen a AE-2 "dual" brushed esc. And. Yes I know you could add 2 more motor leads.

Pictures show it using Clod axels front and rear with Integy hop ups. TTR CVDs with 17mm hubs are also present. Chassis looks to be TheCrawlerStores Carbon Fiber or Fiberglass NN chassis. |

The seller got it on trade ..and yes he knows as little about it as I do He described it based on exactly what the original owner/builder had listed in his ad when he traded I understand what parts it has I'm just looking for a "brand/model" or something I can classify it by ...for future parts purchases or resell Thanks again for all the positive feedback ...and not bashing me the noob |

Tamiya Clodbuster with NN crawler chassis. You can tell by the drive hexes and by looking closely at the pics that the drive axles have been upgraded to TTR CVDs. You will need to pull the gearcases apart to see if it has the stock plastic gears or aftermarket aluminum gears. When you get it, you can get more help with it unther the super class or Clodbuster threads. Oh, by the way, its not 1/5th scale. Although a super classs crawler looks big, they are still concidered 1/10th or 1/8th scale. (the Clod kit is 1/10th) Last edited by ThunderVP; 11-15-2013 at 06:16 AM. | |
