Found this one on ebay at a decent price, so here we go. Plans are wraith axles, cage, bumpers and sliders.

Where did you get the body. That is a slat grill jeep, one of the first types made for World War II.

Thanks for looking, this one is a 2002 hasbro. I finally had some time to work on this beast, transfer case came in and a good friend helped with the frame. Heres a pic,

Re: Boggers slow 1/6 jeep build......

how do you find the articulation with equal link lengths........does axle cycle straight up and down, or does it want to swing up and away.........i ask cause i had a similar setup, then changed to shorter bottom links, and then it cycled properly......

by the way wicked build.....definitely going to pick one of these up for my next build.....

The HPI gear box is the most compact!

Re: Boggers slow 1/6 jeep build......

I'm using a scx10 transmission with upgrades to feed a rc4wd disruptor transfer case with 2.18:1 gearing. I'm pretty sure with a 87 tooth spur gear and 17 pinion gear it should work fine. Thanks for looking. Also drive shafts should be here in a few days, cant wait
