I did all those things in my build, link posted above. Ripped 1" square tube for Chassis rails, Cut and rewelded MIPs, used Vanquish Ti links and a bulletproof AX10 trans with Crawler Innovations outputs. The Holmes Hobbies motor I used is out of stock but it pulled the 15lbs rig around the trail no problem. Crawler or not, you'll want to have a good suspension setup (like pictured in my thread) due to the weight and at least a rear sway bar if you intend on driving it with any speed. |
