hell yea! i designed, made patterns, checked, redid, etc for about a month. i made about 1/8" clearance everywhere. its TIGHT. perfect fit. i think the extra time spent will pay off. im a bit of a perfectionist/accuracy freak lol. i garantee you, you wont find a straighter, more square tuber out there.

got the cab jig made up, and the 4 main cross bars cut and fit. i hope to finish up the cab tonight.

well ive kinda back burnered this project and been into Heli's lately. but weve got a txrcrca scale trail run in february, so maybe ill get it done for that....

There's also a nice Hummer body as well









Also, if you are going to use Clod axles, I found a VERY Cheap way to extend the wheel base by 1.5".
I got all this hardware from Home Depot. There is some trimming required of the screw heads inside the hubs and drilling out the wheels to mount the new screws but not hard to do.

well my current project is at teh powdercoaters, and im await a new DX6 reciever to get the T-rex in the air, so i had some down time and got a few joints done.

Jwrape... what's the wheelbase on the Clod Avalanche? I'mabout to start one myslef and trying to make plans for it. Looks like I may end up using Wheely King axles after all it the body is that wide!!

I sold it a LONG time ago about a year or mre but if I remember correctly it was 13.5" long center of hubs.
