I just picked up the same body on the Bay, going to be starting a similar project soon. Haven't put a lot of thought into the chassis or axles yet so I might have to watch this thread closely and pilfer some ideas. Or I might just take the easy way out and slap it on my 4x4 Slash chassis.

Supershafty's bomb proof axial trans will hold up to 6s just ask v84x4. All steel gears unlike the summit trans. Tamiya high lift trans is three speed. I don't think with a hard body he is going to be putting much power through it. You never know though. It would be nice to have options.

Ill probably go with the summit 2 speed. Maybe a decent china brushless system, i do want some power on tap. |
