Default Radio shack truck turned heavily modded 1:6 ford ranger

So this truck started out as a Radio Shack Extreme Machine. I used a chassis extension from the 1:6 nikko hummer to stretch the chassis. I ran this truck for a while as a hummer but have redone it with an Artin ranger body and 4 link rear end.

Before the rear end mod the truck was a 16" wheelbase, now it is about 17" and actually has flex compared zero flex before. I am very anxious to run it against My summit, ascender, scx10 and ax10. Before it used to go places some of them couldnt and none of them are near stock so this should be interesting

Mods so far:

4 linked rear axle using integy/axial green links
Summit GTR shocks on the rear
Dual RC4WD 4:1 gear reduction units
Traxxas am radio
VXL speed control
Traxxas 2075 Servo
5200 MAH 11.1v 50C
fully waterproof
locked diffs

I was running an RC4WD winch but its off for now.

It was able to crawl all these climbs very slowly. Gotta say this truck is a blast to drive

Looks like fun, can you show a shot of the chassis, or underside? Any plans to clean up the body or repaint?

I took the rest of the stickers off this morning. I'll probably run it like this till its scratched up and might paint it. I will be taking pictures of it body off and will post em up

I took it to the Sunday crawls today and ran it with a load of scx10's, a Gmade R1 and some others. Guess which truck was the only one to make this giant hill climb....

Looking good!, I'm a Dodge fan, but I've always liked the Ford stepside bodies.
