Cool man, i tried brazing a couple times but it never came out rite.Maybe some kind of jig would help.

It just takes a LOT of practice to get a strong, good looking joint. When I was first learning how to oxy/acetylene braze, I probably had a 75% waste ratio going on, but each 'failure' was a lesson in what I was doing wrong. Hang with it, you will figure it out after a while, or if you're lucky you can fine someone who knows what they are doing and they will mentor you.

Ya, keep practicing, you'll feel better knowing you made it yourself. Safety-silv is easy to use, and the silver rod melts at a low temp, perfect for brazing brake line. Remember to grind a fish-mouth at the open end of connecting tubes for a stronger joint. And don't worry how it looks when you first do it. Heck, take a look at the crappy job I did on mine, (New Project for Me, pg 2 & 3), but when you're done cleaning it up and painting it, it looks fine.

Check out Frizzlefry's Marx Jeep build, bend a couple tubes, clamp them in place, braze a couple cross braces in, you can always add more later. When I made my rollcage, I made the front and back hoops and taped them in place, then added the cross bracing. Most of the brazing was done while the cage was on the body.

Re: The i have a willys problem build.

Due to having carpal tunnel surgery i haven't been able to do much with this project. So i decided to put the aluminum cage and chassis on the back burner.
Picked up a roll cage and sliders from RCP. My buddy is gonna be helping with the welding and miscellaneous stuff. Thanks for looking.

My buddy got the frame and other parts done today. Still have a ways to go with the front bumper before the excess frame is cut off.
