Are you asking about overall width of the body or the wheels and tires?

Lunch time update, I started bending up my grill guard & stinger. I'll try to get it welded tonight.

That's a good lookin' bumper, the stinger may be a bit long. But hell, what do I know. 😅

Nah, I think the stinger is the right height, you don't want it over the top of the hood, anything taller would look gaudy.

The stinger looks proportionate to the jeep. I'll get it welded up tomorrow.

Today I received a gift from Jeepin Paul. He had a spare roll cage & donated it to my build. The funny thing is when I was looking at other builds for ideas I saw his and really liked the design & I was going to copy his cage. The cage fits and looks awesome! Thank you Jeepin Paul for your thoughtfulness & kindness..

It also gives Joe some protection from zombie soldiers!

Sorry but I had to post more pics!

But with weight of the cage the stock scx10 springs can't do the job. I will have to get some closed cell foams for the tires as well. You can see how she's squatting & the tires look like there going flat. But that is what upgrades are for! Did I tell you guys I love this cage?

You just have to love the 1/6 Jeep Willys. It is my favorite RC crawler. I am glad you like my bending & welding. Keep the photos of your build coming.

P.S.
The Walking Dead Rules. I toured "Woodbury" when I was in GA.

That cage must be made out of solid rod instead of brakeline, it definitely sags. Mines made from 1/4" brakeline, it's sturdy ( I know because I've rolled a few times, and took a couple tumbles and only scratched the paint), and it weighs less than a 12oz can of beer. I like the way the grill guard and stinger turned out, but you may want to put a couple kickers between them. I'm thinking if you take a forward tumble, it may push the stinger back toward the guard, especially now with the added weight of the rollcage.

The grill guard isn't done yet, but I will be adding supports . We're running the jeeps Sunday & I won't have time to finish it by then. But there will be more updates next week!

That's a fantastic lookin' cage, I'm jealous. I guess I'll have to make another one for mine.
