Here's a couple of pics to show how I wired them.

No matter how hard I tried to get video of the fans working, I couldn't get any decent video. Most of the time the exhale of my vape just blocked the whole camera.

On well. Shit happens.

I am working on a light bar mount for the top of the roll cage. I'm still trying to find a good balance of low and protected, with out blocking the drivers view.
I hope to get something mocked up tonight.

How about make a couple brackets and mount it to the cowl behind the hood?

Agreed or the dash roll bar. Up top would make the overall look out of wack.

I looked at both your ideas before committing to the roll cage. Reason why is if the light bar sits to low then the light will be deflected up wards and not towards the ground. The higher it's mounted the farther out in front of the rig the light will be broadcast at the proper angle.

I have to admit, this took much less time then I thought it would. DONE.

Heck yeah. That turned out good. Blends in well and Not to in your face.

I like how flat that light bar is. Who makes that?

I think so to, Mike.
I wish I knew. I bought this one in the classified section here on RCC. There are no markings to indicate who made it. I'll check with the seller and see if he knows. If I learn anything, I'll post it up.

A little shake down run from yesterday, the fans are working spectacular. Dropped the temps WAY down. After a good 15min. run, I held my finger on the motor for about 15 seconds. Not even hot.

Here's a link to the video.

Nope, it's located at a local park, surrounded by a fence, which you can see. It started out as a 2.2 rock crawling course, but has been transformed into a scaler course.
My plan was to make a scale mountain range. It's getting so close to that.

Sorry, had a few rigs to rebuild for a hugh event last weekend.
For some reason, my pic's are not uploading as they should. Hopefully I can get the issue resolved tomorrow and post tgem for you.

I'm very happy with the build and can't wait to do more very soon.

Here are some of the pic's of the lights.

They turned out nice and work well in the dark. I installed a slide switch under the hood, just until I can find a long skinny toggle switch to mount inplace of the right shifter on the floor in the cab.

This is just my opinion and you know the saying about opinions.

Excellent Job on the brazing.
I think the approach angle is good.
The bar is too small.
The cross bar needs to go.

I like hoops around the lights likeGranite Bandit's an Mike Flea's Granite Bandit's 1/6 scale Willys Jeep

The frontend frame is next, the grill guard. The small cross bar is for the winch hook.
