I haven't beat on my SSD yet but this is after 3 runs. I am very impressed with SSD products so far. I have no doubt these will be my go to axle. I bought but yet to run this for protection. SSD Skid for Diamond Axle |

The skid? it's in stock at RRP. I had VP Curries in my SCX, Yeti and my Wraith. I liked them a lot but for the $$ the SSD is way to hard to pass up. Now i just need a front but i'll break the Axial one first. |

| Re: 1/6th Jesse James Silverado SS so I ran into a gentleman by the name of Chad Altfather. He cuts custom frames for from aluminum for scx10s. After having a conversation with him I sent him some of the information that I had. Well this is the result so far. There will be more photos added on this one post as he sends them to me. | Re: 1/6th Jesse James Silverado SS I haven't done any plastic welding on either of the two floor plans. However both of them are like that. Both of them or factory assembled as they had them stupid little triangle bits to hold them together. |

Wire electrical discharge machine, burns the metal like a spark plug. Got all kinds of them at work. They can make what ever shape hole you want!

Not really, this burns it off in little particles. Then a dielectric fluid flushes the particles away. A plasma cutter actually heats the air between the torch and the work piece kinda like a tig welder. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBueWfzb7P0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4FinKsDfww Last edited by vwmopar; 11-28-2015 at 10:09 PM. |
