hey butt head

it was sold it on consignment

and he only takes cash for the used mowers

cause he told me if he accepted payment he would have to pay the tax and keep transactions

but since it sold on consignment "as is" and cash only

And the tag that was on the mower clearly said "as is" and cash only

So He is covering his ass and the seller too and has been in business a long time

the money goes to the previous owner

And I think he may get part of money

I didn't ask

And that is the receipt the guy handed me

believe me or don't believe me

I have told every body

I'm one of the most honest assholes

you will ever meet

I was raised to be brutal honest even if I XXXX myself

so why would I come on here and lie about shit

that not my nature

I'm an honest asshole

nobody is calling you a liar dipstick

But if you think that is a legal receipt for ownership...
you are dumber then a box of rocks.

wouldn't stand up in any court of law

You assume everything is legit
because you purchased thru a supposedly legit business.
Tho' they can't be too honest... if they thwart their tax obligations.

IMO you're mistaken to believe everything you're told.
If it's not written/described clearly in the purchase agreement...
it's probably not legit.

So enjoy your stolen chit... and

Yeah Baby

Once again I got something

Unique and different

That nobody else is building

I found a 1/6th scale Jeep Mutt

Its a M151 A2 Vietnam Era

Jeep Mutt that was made by Ford

For the U.S. Military

Don't have any dimensions

Other than a 12'' G.I. Joe fits

its a "Action Figure" not Doll like Taco plays with

Taco has admitted he "plays with Dolls''

its been documented on here and now is public record

I will take some dimensions and some better pics

When I get it

I got a set of SCX10 axles that might work

Depending how wide the body is

Yeah Baby

loving the 6th scales

^ something RC related ?

...sweet

but I'd need a microscope
to see those tiny butt pictures you posted.

guess I'll have to wait until I either get a microscope
or you post pictures that can be actually seen.

Cool Baby

I just read the M151 A2 was 1/4-ton 4x4 utility vehicle

that was replaced by the HMMWV or Humvee

cool baby learning some history

and got one of each

Seeing how the M151 was 4 wheel independent suspension, the model is screaming for traxxas parts under it.

You did a good job on the HummV, you managed to work through every set back and keep moving forward until you got the result that you wanted.

Yeah baby

I really like this idea

A 6th scale 6 x 6 would be

bad ass especially with the roll bars

need too check the body out

and the chassis

Hey BigSky

I got a Axial Exo kit that I built

and never finished

there is my independent suspension

not sure if I want to cut the Aluminium skid plate

And stretch the wheel base

I'm really thinking 6 X 6

the more I look at the pictures

the more the 6 x 6 is bad ass

The Jeep Mutt

Shipped today and I got a tracking number

I hope it here this week

here is 3 pictures of the Jeep Mutt

the person started their build and there is no more info

Looks like he is using 2.2'' Swampers

It looks like I could maybe use 1.9'' tires and wheels

And my extra SCX10 axles

Cause it does not look as wide or as long as the Humvee body is

Their both made by 21st Century Toys

I can't find any pictures of the bottom

there could be a chassis I could use for the four links

And I like the roll cage on the one in the last pic

And the windshield folds down like in the pics

I'm liking the Mutt

Cause its not a Willy's and or the Dragon or the 21st Century Jeep

Its different and unique

Found some pictures

1. here is a M151 A2 6th scale similar too mine

2. is a M151 A2 FAV Fast Assault Vehicle and was carried inside a CH-53 Helicopter

The Navy Seals had there version called a the SuperMutt and was used by the teams cause of its go anywhere ability

3. Is for Taco this a Jeep with the 6th NCB See Bee's symbol painted on the side

They were the first See Bee's unit to land in Guadalcanal in September 1942 and held their own

4. Is a crazy picture of them using ropes too move Jeeps over a ravine not sure how high up they are but its still crazy

5. Is some one build with what looks like SCX10 axles maybe its the 10th scale body I seen

Take this info for what it is worth: The M151 was used during the Viet Nam war and afterwards for a while until the Humvee was developed to replace it.

The reason why the M151 was replaced, was because it was so easy to roll over, despite it being a low profile vehicle. The IFS, IRS would tuck under in a quick turn.

99.8% of M151's that were decommissioned at the end of their useful life were cut in half and destroyed so that civilians wouldn't meet the same fate as active duty military did

when the vehicles rolled. Not all were fatalities, but there were some pretty gruesome injuries.

I was the Detachment Commander's driver while stationed in Greece in '83. I'm very familiar with this Jeep.

That .2%, there were a few M151's that made it past. These were sold at military auctions where the bidder went and bought a sealed box, sight unseen, and when delivered,

found a complete M151 wrapped in visqueen inside.

One more thing, somewhere in the Large Scale section, there's another 1/6 M151 that someone did, and there is enough clearance under the center tunnel, that he didn't have to

cut the body to make an SCX-10 tranny fit, so no extra body work.

I talked too the guy that posted the picture

of the Mutt with the 2.2'' Swampers

He never finished the build

I have a GCM 4 Ten chassis with a motor forward plate and transfer case

and Toyota axles and leaf springs

That I could part out and a use for the Mutt

he suggested that motor and transmission go under the hood

And too cut the hood, not sure about cutting any thing yet

I been looking for 6th scale Jeep Mutt builds

only found the one guy I talked too and

some pics of the 10th scale Jeep Mutt body

they just show the body

The wait is killing me

Cause I want too take measurements and see how wide the body is

cause nobody has said what the dimensions are

So the axle question is killing me

same with the under hood area

is there room for a small lipo and receiver and esc

Thank you Mr Wizard

So the Mutt is almost the same size as the Humvee

The Humvee was listed as 11'' wide and 22'' long

but its actually 10 1/4'' wide and 21 3/4'' long

So I still need to measure the Mutt body

And figure out which axles will work

I have a second Wraith that I could part out

Dam it

its 30'' long and 14'' wide and 13'' high

And it would make a killer 6th scale

Really starting to love 6th scale Military vehicles

if you really want to get adventurous, there's a 1/6 Kettenkrad, which is a tracked vehicle with a motorcycle front fork and tire.

Dragon Models also put out a 1/6 Schwimmwagen, 2 1/2 ton cargo truck, and a Sherman tank.

The Kettenkrad and Schwimmwagen can usually be picked up on e-bay, depending on condition, for between $20 - $80 each.

I've also seen on e-bay, once in a while, (rare), the Duece and a half, and the Tank. The Duece I saw, was 4' long, and the bidding was already up over $500, I don't know what it sold for.

The Sherman tank in 1/6 was sitting in the sellers living room and was larger than the coffee table in front of the couch. In fact, if it was an 8' long couch, it was almost as long as the couch, at least 3' tall, 3' wide, and the bidding was at $900.

It would make one hell of an RC!!

I looked at some of 6th scale German vehicles

Not sure if there political correct

The Willy's/ Dragon / 21st Century stuff is nice

I kinda like the newer stuff

The Mutt is Korean/Vietnam War

The Humvee is Gulf War/ Middle East Conflicts

I also seen a 6th scale Dodge WC

That was a Generals Staff car

Its was very Expensive

And very Nice

As a kid my Dad bought a 41' Ford Flat Fender Jeep

Not a Willy's it was Ford and it had a Ford Flathead 4 cylinder

And it was squirrelly when lifted and with bigger tires

Wish I had it now

I found some pics of 1942 Ford Jeep

Ours was a lot nicer bit you get the idea of what it looked like

Bigski

I found it

Its a 1943 Dodge WC57 Command Car

That's why it looks very similar too the Dodge WC52

I would not crawl either one

They would still be cool to display
