I got my Wraith chassis painted OD Green

And I got my Spawn body and I like it

I need to cut the front of the body

For the metal bumper/stinger and for the lights

yeah baby

For $2.20 it was miss marked

I bought this 16'' x 6'' foundation vent

Too get a 14 1/2'' x 6'' 1/8'' mesh piece

Enough to make a new grill for the spawn body

And I could also make a new bed cover

For the Wraith not sure its pretty flexible

It might not work for a bed cover but will work for a grill

Yeah baby

Its a good thing

I buy extra R/C stuff

I have four of these 2 are a little bigger than the other 2

Going to use the 4WD emblem part of them

And put one of the bigger ones on the grill,

The other bigger one on the tailgate

And the smaller ones on each quarter panel

My Wraith is going to look badass and one of kind

Cause I can't leave shit alone

Or I could do something

Completely different

And use a Yoter grill and narrow it

Then cut out the sections in the grill and back it with screen and a 4WD emblem

Not sure how to attach the Yoter grill to the Spawn body

I still think the screen grill would be easier

Just not as custom

I kept it simple

but did some customizing

I have done very little Lexan work

Used peices of Lexan from the half roof

To fill in the knotches where the bars from stock brush gaurd goes thru the body

Cause if not there would be a strip of the body missing

It will need to have 2 new slots cuts for the metal brush gaurd

I like how it came out for never doing this kind of customizing

Going to look good with the 4WD emblem centered in the grill

It looks like the front is missing something

I tried to keep the headlight part of the stickers

But they got tore up when I cut out the grill section

I need to look for some headlight or turn signals

It needs something

I didn't want the lights in body

So I can make a battery forward mount

And take the body off and on to change batteries

Is it possible to mount the lights on or in the bumper/stinger?

No the four lights will not fit on bumper/stinger

2 of the headlights mount where they are supposed too

Then the other 2 lights mount in between the bars

Thats why I added the mesh for the lights

So they would not be in the body

And hid behind the screen

I misunderstood, I see what you did now, mounted the lights to the frame inside, behind the grill. You're just looking for something to put on the outside, to look like a light.

How about Shoo-Goo-ing some clear lenses (part # AX80086) to the outside of the grill, in front of where the lights are mounted behind the grill?

I see what your saying Mike

I was talking about the body

Where the corner of the body and where the grill starts

There really is not alot of room

Thats what I meant it looked like it was missing something

I looked thru some of my Axial sticker sheets

And there is not alot of sticker options that small

And nothing really looks right

I think once I cut the grill so the body drops over the metal bumper/stinger

And glue on the 4wd emblem on the grill

It is what is

If you look at the pictures I had to lose the headlight stickers

Cause there was not enough left to look right

Now I see. Do you have any leftover stickers from other builds?, or maybe a piece of reflective tape, that can be cut up. Bicycle shops usually sell thin stick-on reflector strips in amber or red for under a buck.

The only stickers I found on the

sheets was the Axial symbols or more brand stickers like on the quarter panels

and nothing looks right

I need to look for a scale hood ornament or some bull horns

or something cool

I really like how the Wraith is

Coming along

I made a bed cover and roof piece out the screen mesh

And I had to make a second grill cause the lights

stick out passed the frame

I was able to fix it and looks good

I also got the Hutchinson bead locks painted

They look good with black hardware

Not sure if the paint is going to stick and not scratch off

I used a Scotch bright pad and some etching primer

And then the top coat of Deep Forest Green

Then I shot some flat clear of the top coat

The rims look good and are a lighter shade

Of the same color as the frame

I could paint up the RPG

And attach to mesh wall behind the seats

It would look bad ass

I ordered

a 100 2 mm x 8 mm socket cap screws

for the Hutchinson beadlocks

and a set of 1.9'' Voodoo KLR's

With C.I. Wild Deuce single stage foams

Cause the KLR's work with the Hutchinson's

And should be easier to mount than Pro-line TSL XL Swampers

Pro-lines don't work with a lot of rims and the Hutchinson's are one

The RC4WD inner rings for Prolines work with RC4WD and some other beadlocks

There just not made specificity for the Hutchinson's

When I tried to mount Prolines on the Hutchinsons using the RC4WD inner rings

I just could not get the bead evenly and made the tire wobble cause of the high and low spots

Cause even with the special inner rings

I had to fight them and the wobble was bad enough to not want to run them

I hoping the KLR's are easier

I ordered a second Wraith battery tray

And put one in the rear with some mesh

Going to mount the ESC on the stock holder velcro-ed to

the mesh it should look good with the bed mesh over the tray

I then took the second Wraith battery tray and used my Dremel to trim it

And shaved the radio box a little too be able

Too make a battery forward mount and be able too squeeze in a big 2S Lipo

Going to look for a couple smaller 3S Lipos that fit better

I also made a bottom bracket to help hold the battery tray
