Help needed...

I bought a Hasbro Willys years ago, but the windscreen frame was destroyed in shipping. The remains are long since gone. If you have an extra, I'll buy it.

What I need help with in the mean time height of the frame and the angle back when its upright. I'm rebuilding my cage want to use a windshield.

Thanks...

Which Hasbro Willy's is it? The early 60's to mid 70's model had G.I. Joe 7000 on the hood, the later model Hasbro Willy's from 2000 to 2002 is more detailed, and similar to the 21st Century Jeeps. They have different windshield frames.

You might try sending a pm to BigSki, I think he was printing window frames, or he knows someone that does

That is good to know cause a lot Hasbro's on Ebay are missing the windshield and cowl

So you might be able to get a replacement

That's really good to know. I appreciate it. I'll send a message. Can anyone get me the measurements so I can get started on my cage?

I just stumbled across this. It was Nomadpsd that sent me a "dumb-solid" Solidworks file for his windshield frame. I copied the geometry and tweaked the design a bit for my own tastes, but the work that Nomadpsd did was very good. I did one test print on my own, the shape was close enough that I sent the file to Shapeways and had it printed with their commercial quality printers. I think that it was around $35 for the part, delivered.

I have my file somewhere. You could contact Nomadpsd to see if he has his file at Shapeways. I can try to find the file and get some basic dimensions off of the model for you if that helps.

That helps a lot, thanks. I was hoping someone could take a ruler and tell me how tall theirs was from the cowling and about how many degrees its dipped back. I am trying to build my cage right now and was just being impatient.

I really do appreciate everyone's help.
