Ok, here is my lame excuse, two weeks ago I felt like crap and did not have the energy for much of anything. Last weekend was the comp and this weekend I am capitalizing on the warm weather and cleaning carpets. I am at a stopping point on that for today so I will have some time to screw around tonight.
Saturday I am busy at the animal shelter for about half of the day so I might get something done in the afternoon........

The axles are all but mounted but I need to buy a set of shocks since I used my last set on the crawler I am building for my brother in law but once those are mounted I will start on the body. I still do not have a clue how I am going to do the body but I am thinking of lexan sheet with decals but then I have to find someone to print out some good vynal decals. Option 2 is to print out my own decals and sandwich them between two sheets of lexan to keep water and rocks from ripping them up.

Yeah, what's up with the horrible cold/flu that went around a couple of weeks ago? I have pretty much been in the same boat until this week. Been too busy to get anything done, and when I did have time I felt like crap. It's good to hear that you're going to working on it again though. I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Sorry but no real updates. I have been a little burned out on several things so this project along with several others have been on hold while I enjoy trashing my current rigs. Once the creative spark sets back in things will go very quickly

Yes Sir I'm sorry sir don't hurt me sir!
My apologies to those of you waiting. My building efforts have been on scale rigs (had to get the YJ ready for montana and now I am busting tail to get Shelly and the Mall Crawler up to snuf for the Colorado Winter Series finals this weekend). Next week I should be able to dive back into this bad boy (will be picking up parts for it this weekend) but I have to get the wheels mounted before I can do much more (need CVDs and adapters )

hey tmyjeeper, that pic is from the colorado springs comp on june 16th correct. i went to that too. I thought it sucked compared to previous xrra comps i have been to. the course layout was lacking and you couldn't hardly see any action unless you were in the media circle. sweet rigs though.
