So she has been sitting for sometime due to lack of time and money so now im dusting her off.. but the project is changing... im going to make her an icelandic crawler... just need to get my hands on some jumbo kong swamp dawgs... stay tuned... may be interesting....

the trailer has been reduced to scrap (stock) and being used for other projects.... got a little out of hand.

Thats actually how it sits right now.. chopped revo rims and nylint tires... actually doesnt look half bad... but with how wide the maxx axles are and how skinny the tires are... doesnt look scale right now.. not like the kongs will be any better, but she's getting a plow. This is a project thats kinda on the back burner when i get bored.. being that winter is here... im bored

Sweet. You inspired me to keep on chopping/fabbing my gladiator. I'm working on the same body but not too crazy about the wheelbase. I fear it will get hung up alot. At first i was gonna try to cut out teh cab section and reduce the length but then it'll look funny when it's done so i'm leaving it as is. I dig your roll bar and cargo rack on top. I'm aiming for those standard behind-window roll bars that pickups use. I will have a cargo box in the back with the esc and rx in it so the rollbar will protect that. Keep the pictures/info coming cuz this is a good motivational thread for me

good work!

Looks good. Love the tube work.
So far mine is on Swamp Kongs using Clod axles and stock links. Waiting for my pile of parts that i ordered from CPE too get here so I can 4-link it. The chassis is a ghetto fabbed aluminum chassis that I cobbled together.
Right now it is tore down for a rebuild.

Got the new tires last night! WOW!!! I need to lift this thing like 3 inches. Looks kinda like an Arctlandic Rigs.. I also threw in some comparison pics to show just how large these tires really are!!!

Also figured i need like @ 31 feet of small chain to make the snow chains for these things!!!

eh eh eh.. i'll never have to shovel again!!!!

ill be doing some work on her this weekend... it'll still be some time before she is done... but hopefully not too long. This time of year is crazy! Hopefully come Jan 1st... i can take a day or 2 to myself and stay home and get crazy!!!

i still need to modify the main chassis and lock out the suspension on the axles, 4 link it and get @ 3 "s of room under the wheel wells... its going to take @ 35 feet of small chain to make the tire cains.. no matter how big they are... ruber on ice is still rubber on ice! Once it is done.. the local guys might see it here and there rompin around at the local comps... hhhmmmm.. super class... maybe. not like it will do well but it will stll be fun... im ordering these up here next week to help with the plow look:

Anyone know where to find a scalish light bar? @ 8" long or so... i may have to build one...

http://www.youtube.com/v/cf1BiShyv2o

I was talkin with Dan at finish line last night about once it is done.. plop her down in the snow, turn on the blower and hook up the sled to see if it can pull while plowing?!?! that will be on youtube in a heart beat!!!!
