@Jeepy84,

Having built both kinds of Jeeps, I found the Hasbro, with the removable frame that's perfectly usable with a little reinforcement, a bit easier to deal with than the 21st Century for, which I had to build a frame.

Though the scales are a little different, I didn't find them to be prohibitively so.

I've been modeling a Hasbro jeep body in Solidworks while comparing the measurements against published drawings of the original Willys MB military jeeps. The Hasbro body is very inconsistent in scale, ranging between 1:6 to 1:7 scale with a lot of the dimensions falling in at 1:6.5.

Sorry for your losses, and that'll be a nice acquisition.

I remember as a kid growing up in the 'burbs of Chicago, every gas station had one of those half cab Jeeps for plowing their lots, some had a big wide bumper on the front with old tires bolted to them for pushing stuck or non running cars, small generators mounted in the rear for jump starts, and usually a bare rim with an extension cord wound around it.
