Not sure what advice you might be looking for ?

Gonna construct and mount the body atop frame rails or a full caged tubular chassis ?

But I'm here to see your next step.

You'll have to fabricate the interior. Check out the Scale Accessories pages, I think there's some ideas there for making racing seat pans, but you might have to scale up, because I believe the ones I saw, were for a 1/10 truck.

Hello,

here's the first drawing from the frame.

And the first cut pieces.

And the first side of the frame welded.

Both sides welded.

The frame is made of 20 mm x 10 mm flat steel.

Hallo,

at last night i build the axles under the frame.
At first i take the axles from the xCrawlee,
but i think they are not so good as the SCX10.

A look by side from the H3T.

Hello,

Today the self-carved shock absorber attachments.
The front.

The rear.

And here the entanglement from the chassis.
It's near 160 mm on each axle.

And at last the overview.

The ford is probably pretty hard.

Hello,

In the last week I have worked on the drivetrain.
An HSP gearbox with engine was allowed to sit under the hood.

Since to come then still two DIY cardan shafts,
From 6 mm hexagon and 9 mm hexagon tube and stainless steel joints.
This shaft goes from 120 mm to 150 mm.

And this up to 170 mm.

An extension to the rear axle made of 6 mm stainless steel.

The complete drivetrain in the Ranger.

Frank

Hello,

so everything is prepared for the first test run last Sunday.
The test setup.

Receiver, controller and motor from xCrawlee,
Servo 20 kg SKU220524 from Banggood.
Battery for the controller only the NiMH from xCrawlee.
The shafts are not yet flattened at the extension to the rear.
Let's see what goes.
But regulators should the WP-1040 later come in for 3s Lipo.

A little video from the fist run.

Hello,

After which I have still worried about what to make hot.

Here comes the first soldering with it.

Only with spacers on the body,
let's see how I get on.

Hello,

yesterday again a bit bent, cut, filed and soldered.
Here's the approximate of the two beams.

First view from the passenger side.

Driver's side.

The overhang is so desired, for the rear struts.
And again all from behind.

Hello,

today the rockslider with the partial cage soldered
and temporarily screwed to the body.

So I like the side views.
Rear view still without bracing and spare wheel.

Just a 2.2 wheel placed on the rear.

Under the wheel between the frame beams of the battery is.
He approaches my ideas.
