| Which body is this?
I got this jeep in a trade. It has no brand markings but it seems to be scaled for a 12in gi Joe like the Hasbro bodies. I'm building a scale rig out of it, I'd just like to know about this body in case anyone asks or I want to try and find a windshield or something. My Siamese cat apparently wanted to be on the internet's too, she wouldn't move. |

I thought I had seen all of the variations of the Willy's MB bodies but this is a new one to me. The cross bars in the grille aren't seen on the 21st Century models but they're the ones who did all the various service models (USN, USMC,USAAF,AB,etc.) It literally has no markings underneath at all? Disregard above, it IS a Hasbro. They did release a USN MB, and it does have those crossbars. Google "1/6 usn Jeep" and they come up FOR SALE, nib. Lol. Learn something new everyday. Edit: or maybe not, lol http://www.patchesofpride.com/subweb...arkwright.html He's got a Hasbro and a Soldiers of the World (21st Century) Shore Patrol, the SotW looks like yours. It's an 'Ultimate Soldier' model of the MB, not a Hasbro. There are some Hasbro Navy versions, as well as a few Air Force versions and an runway 'taxi' vehicle, but this one that you've posted isn't a Hasbro.

So I looked it over really well, there's no markings of any kind. Also the hood comes off very different to the Hasbro bodies I've seen on here. Plus there's no frame rails. I cut clearance for an scx 10 frame to sit up in the underside, it's a pretty flat belly. It didn't have realistic axles, just really similar wheels to the Hasbro wheels and metal shafts in plastic flanges, kind of like a hot wheels car where the axle clips in. I had cut that off a while ago. |

It also came with a shovel and axe to mount in those 2 little groves on the 2nd pic above. Also a soft top. I have a rear frame for the top, but no windshield. My top and frame are different than all the ultimate soldier stuff I saw. Also I feel like the front end looks a little different. Last edited by AJames; 07-25-2017 at 08:57 PM. |
