Default Large scale Ford

Idea is to sorta go fast ish a little with this. Front end is off of a HOBBYPRODUCTSINTERNATIONAL long discontinued RS4 glow fuel MT2 that I buys from feebay recently. Rear is standard wraith hardware with an open differential and 1M diff glop, same up fronts. ugh everything else is still up in the air. We all know where the body came from, I got it for $35 smoking deal if you ask me

Maybe stretch a yeti?? I did one purely on a wraith platform with the same frame rails as u used. Shell get heavy but itll be a tank becomes a decent trail trauck and with a 8th scale brushless itll move too

Looks good Gula, that's one hell of a sturdy frame, I don't think you'll have to worry about it being top heavy.

I'm currently working on one with Wraith axles.

Yeah, I have one planned with wraith axles too. Will use a different color body though.

I got the black one. Buddy has a red for show and black for go.

I would prefer blue but would also snag up a grey one in a heartbeat. You don't see as many of those.

My wife just got me the gray one for Xmas. I had been mentioning that I wanted to do a larger build. I have been try to research how everyone has been making/doing their chassis. The guy that I wanted to do mine, doesnít make custom chassisís anymore. I have wraith axles and either wraith skid or scx10 skid. Iím looking to do more trailing/rock crawler.

I 3d printed a Wraith skid and am using Wraith axles. I'm still working out where I want my upper links to mount on the frame. I'm also trying to decide between cantilever suspension or angled shocks for the rear. I'm designing electronics and battery trays to 3d print as well. I used aluminum c-channel from the hardware store for my chassis rails. Either 7/16" or 3/8". Can't remember which. It measures out to 10mm inside the rail.

It's a work in progress and I already see what I'll change on the chassis for the next build.

I brazed upper link mounts into the chassis.
I was waiting on my drive shafts to come in so it went to the back burner. I've not gotten back to it due to other projects. I should be finished printing a project for a fellow tomorrow. Then, I'll be back on this.

Next up is brazing on tabs to mount the cantilever suspension.

You should start your own build thread so we can comment on your build, my question was directed at Gula since he started this thread.
