My second Willys build.
Axles are SSD diamond pro 60’s.
Metals are from RCPCrawlers.

What material is the frame? And is it scratch built?

The frame looks like the one that comes on the jeep. It plastic and has axles molded into it. you just cut the axles off and mount your Tamiya axle stays. some people fill the frame with epoxy but I do not think it is
necessary.

Best looking one I've seen yet! Looks better (IMO) as a "built-up" trail truck than a "clean" military jeep

Great looking project very clean and finished nicely. I've always like these builds and the way they move on the rocks is ultra realistic. ... Nice work!
