got some more work done on this rig i installed some frame rails for the rear cut the bed open for the shocks to go through the bed and i reused the rear cage off th3 yeti for the swaybar mounts and shock mounts itnseems to have worked out perfict and the yeti cage fits under the newbright cage that i think im gona keep for a little while cause it fits lol i used my old maxstome 5 links for the rear they seem to fit just right i might need a small spacer for the links just to fine tune the wheel base i grabed thd old redcat motor and i have a brand new cheap esc for it so all i need now to run it is a servo and a reciver
oh and finnish mounting everything

Nice work. Hiding the yeti rear frame section under the new bright cage was a great idea, well done.

It looks pretty well right to me as a stock road legal raptor. But now you mention it, a size up would finish it off for sure.

Nothing wrong with the front bar. Maybe cut the toy grade "lights" out and replace with a light bar?

Definitely get rid of the stickers tho. Sand will look good but I'd personally paint it red so when u inevitably scratch it, it's still red.

the bumper thats on it dosent tie in to the yeti chassie making the front end of the body week a nice strong metal bumper tied in to the yeti chassie will make it so much stronger and it will look better not that it looks bad now it just looks like a toy

i got enuff done to run it and its sweet way better than i thought it would i found the missing tire so they fit the wheel wells better the suspention is great considering the extra weight of the body nice and soft and vary stable it looks alot like a real truck when it takes off or stops it dosent traction role at all but it still turns well it dosent realy go fast enuff to launch yet it will but what little air i can get looks good nice and smooth my goal was to build a modified street truck i think im there i still have to do a front bumper and ill probably keep the rear ill play with it for a while then tear it down and paint it

You did a nice job dropping that big Raptor body on there. It’s a good looking fit. You running the stock Yeti electrics? I imagine some extra power would be nice to get the heavier body on the move

Nice! A Yeti wouldn’t be a Yeti if shit wasn’t breaking off of it
