Fallen's Ultra 4 UDR
 

I know, I know, it's a Traxxas and not a custom build, but please tolerate my blasphemy. I've wanted to make this conversion since I saw the UDR, and my son's love of racing his Yeti against my UDR pushed me to it.

Anyway, there's a lot of changes afoot but I'm mainly posting this in the hope that if others start doing them and posting them, hopefully the aftermarket will pick up and make some U4 parts for the UDR.

I've shortened the chassis at the front and rear. I think the photos will explain that step. I'm also going to be Silly Puttying my front diff.

Yeah, same here. I've raced Ultra 4 style races against my son's Yeti twice now, but DNF'd both times.

I'm fully rebuilding the drivetrain to make sure that doesn't happen next time.

In our last 20 lap race, my son was 1 lap ahead of me when I DNF'd. It's a very rocky trail, so maybe we need more desert section.
