Default peterbuilt 379 scratch build

so this has been kicking around in my head for a long time i figure its time i started putting something down on cardboard so heres the project

a 1/8th scale peterbuilt 379 semi truck
so why a 379 well cause there vary simple and i should be able to make one easy enuff

i looked up all the specks i could find on the internet and started to transfer those mesurments to cardboard my numbers just dident add up so i started refiguring and i think ive got it close

im doing all the mock up with cardboard and when im happy with the dementions ill teansfer them to some .060 styrene plastic

this is a big project and ive never done anything like this before so its gona be a long drawn out project while i learn how to do this

so herez what im shooting for

thank you sir lol

i figured out the wheel combo im going with im gona use the wheels from my old juggernaught there 2.6 glue ons i found the ssd dragons in 2.6 and although the patter is different i think the combo will work ok together

the jugg wheels are wide enuff to mount 2 tires on it so it looks like a duelly wheel and beeing so deep it only adds to the look

the tires are only temperary for mock up cause there the right size im gina have to order 3 sets of tires but i found some china cheapos that have a vary close pattern to a 1:1 semi tire and there as close to the right size as ill get but i would like bigger ones if i could find 10 axial bfg krawlers in r40 compound i would go with those but thats probably not going to happen lol
