Default SCX6 Trail Honcho

Anyone see the photo that's getting around on FB? Looks great, might have to get a 6 now!

(I don't have a photo hosting abilities to share)

I did, and it’s awesome. I’m interested in an scx6 since seeing one in person, just haven’t brought myself to drop $1100 yet

While I thought the SCX6 Jeep looked neat, it didn't really do much for me. This Honcho really seems to hit the mark. I'm starting to feel a $1100 itch that I really don't need right now, haha.

I’m in the same boat. After watching videos I’m more sold than ever

I'm in the same boat. The SCX6 jeep was not it for me, the Honcho hits the mark though!

It looks great, but I'm not too keen on the price being the same as the JLU without the licensed body.

likely why they added some other features not included on the JLU... and as cool as it is not a whole lot of peps have the room and terrain to really stretch its legs ... reason the 1/10 scale is so popular. The micro hits the mark on size and cost but it leaves a lot to desire in terms of detail and the fact that I really lack desire to work on the little guys. My at home crawler course is challenging enough for the 10th scales I have which would likely be a breeze in the trail for this behemoth.

I agree with both posts. Unlicensed should've been lower, but they're also offering a full set of Proline Hyrax XL tires if you order by 10/05. I live on an acre, with about 1/4 being woods, and I've been making some trails over the past couple of years which are just challenging enough for 1/10 scale trucks. A 1/6 truck might get boring quick, so I would have to drive to some places to find more challenging terrain. Maybe if I can sell 3-4 trucks I'll have sufficient shelf space (and funds!) for it. I really like the Honcho style, more than the Jeep.

Default SCX6 Trail Honcho

I like seeing a new SCX6, but honestly the Trail Honcho doesn’t really interest be. I would rather have seen an SCX6 Bronco, but I do understand why they didn’t as it probably wouldn’t sell as good as I’m sure it would be atleast $100 more, just like the 1/10 scale size is $50 more than the JLU.

Still waiting on a kit, even though I don’t have room for another 1/10, let alone a 1/6. Lol.

A few months back on Harley's SNU his question was what would you like Axial to do.. or any company for that matter.

I said a 6th scale Honcho or Bomber.
I want to amend my Bomber a little and say a 6th Scale Bomber with IFS front end. I know they did the Yeti XL but meh.

So as soon as I can get a few things paid off in the next few weeks, I'll likely get in on the preorder.
I liked the Jeeps, but not a BIG new jeep guy.

But if they dropped a 1/6th Wyllys. all bets are off. lol

Same. The green SCX6 Jeep matches my daily driver nearly 100% (I don't have a color match top, but Tamiya PS-5 would fix that). I've been in no rush at all to buy the giant lexan shoebox (Jeep), but the Honcho is making me scrimp in other places for a few weeks to have one on preorder.

This looks pretty cool! not sure if I want to spend $300.00 to change the Jeep over to a Honcho though.

FYI, looks to be in stock at Horizon and RPP. My day one preorder from Horizon still says backorder.
