Im running a PowerHD 65KG 1/5 servo in mine, BEC set to 8.4v.

Its not the most powerful servo on the market, but its faster and has more power than the stocker. Using the stock servo horn with it as well

Nice! That's not a bad Servo at all! I'm now trying to figure out a replacement for the shift servo as the stock one is not that great per all of it's reviews. Mine is working just fine so far but I'd hat to lose it while trailing.

I got my scx6 November 4th 2021 and I am still running the stock shift servo. It might have bad reviews for a steering servo but pulling shift duties your just not stressing it out.

I bought a cheap ebay purchased / chinese made metal gear/water proof 1/5 scale servo sporting 150 KG @ .19 @ 12.6 v
It may not be super fast but it has enough torque to break your arm 173 kg.
If it survives two years it will have been worth the $ 46.ish spent.

Better then spending $ 4-5 hundred that could break too.
Granted this chinese junk comes with no warranty but who really cares. It's cheap enough to have a replacement spare
