| Just an idea,if you tend to get rough with your rig. If you run 1/4" brake line then sleeve it with 5/16".....they'll be super stout. I run this set up on my lower links and just 1/4" line only on my uppers. I tend to bend/brake the #8 all thread every now and then but never bend a link.

was planning on it;) here is all i got done today, i linked up the front, and made all the link covers. ill be painting it tomorrow, and i need to make some panels. now i need to figure out a steering setup. im thinking of using chassis mounted servos, with bellcranks on the axles to steer. i dont want the servos on the axles so we'll see. im also trying to find a piece of delrin for a skid | |

here is what i go tdone today. I didnt get to painting it but there is still tomorrow. i made a skid out of 304 stainless and mounted the tranny. adding just these 2 pieces added 2.5 lbs. to it, its sitting at 10lb 8oz. Im stuck on what to use for panels. i was stuck between using sheet metal, or sheet alumium, or lexan. what do you guys think would be a good material? anyway here are the pics |

well its in paint. there is 3 coats of green, and 3 coats of automotive clear on it. the colors go perfectly together. tomorrow ill make the panels paint them and mount them. now i just need to wait for BraceysDad to send me my aluminum wheel halves and rock rings. i also added 2 bars in the front area behind the shocks, i think they look sweet there. here are the pics |

Ya im guess this thing went in a diffeerrent direction than looking like the Cyclops, meaning no eye. (if a mod see's this can you change the title? dont have a new one in mind though. any ideas?). as for the wheels, braceysdad shipped out my wheels yesterday so ill have some aluminum halves on it soon. M715ForLife why dont you like the panels? it needs to have them to be comp legal |

That is some handy tube work there. A agree a bit on the panels though. some smaller aluminum ones would look trick. Your suspension geometry looks really good. |
